VesselMapper: A Robust Vessel Segmentation Algorithm for 3D Images
Published in The Organization for Human Brain Mapping Annual Meeting, 2023
VesselMapper is a noise-robust algorithm for 3D image vessel segmentation that characterizes morphological features of brain blood vessels in magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) images, enabling the detection of cerebrovascular changes associated with aging, disease, or treatment.

Age- and Sex-Related Morphological Changes in Cerebral Blood Vessels: a 7T TOF MRA Study
Published in The Alzheimer's Association International Conference, 2023
We investigated age- and sex-related morphological changes in cerebral blood vessels using 7T Time-of-Flight MRI, finding that older women show greater increases in small vessel tortuosity compared to men, potentially contributing to elevated risks of cerebral small vessel disease and Alzheimer's disease in women.

Exploring Age-Related Morphological Changes in Cerebral Arteries: A 7T TOF MRA Study
Published in The Organization for Human Brain Mapping Annual Meeting, 2024
We utilized 7T Time-of-Flight Magnetic Resonance Angiography (TOF MRA) to analyze age-related changes in cerebral arterial diameter and tortuosity, finding that aging is associated with increased diameter in large vessels, decreased diameter and tortuosity in small vessels, and potential implications for cerebrovascular health in older adults.
